Tatiana Cabrera is a self taught artist working out of her home studio in Carmel Valley. She is a recent graduate of Cal State Monterey Bay, Where she obtained a B.S in Communication Design with a focus on Visual Design.
From an early age Tatiana was drawn to the art world like a moth to a flame. One of her earliest memories of when her love for art began takes place when she was four. In her friend (Patricia Di Grazia's) Pebble beach home where she remembers walking into Di Grazia's home studio and being in awe of the works around her. From then on she would dedicate all the time she could to painting and drawing.
During her childhood Tatiana could be found inside drawing while the other children played outside. This continued into her teenage years where she focused on Portrait painting and hyperrealism works instead of going out with her friends. When it came time for college Tatiana decided to pursue a graphic design degree since it combined her two favorite things; art and tech.
While in college Tatiana met Patricia Qualls and Emerson who introduced her to the fascinating world of abstraction. While in the studio with them she learned to approach painting with a different mindset. Allowing her artistic expression to be guided by her intuition and emotions.
